The economic capital of Nigeria

Lagos state is the economic capital of NIGERIA, the city is said to be the largest in NIGERIA as well as the whole of AFRICA,the state has the highest GDP in AFRICA.Lagos state was the former capital of NIGERIA,the state has two main area classification ISLAND and MAINLAND.The state is said to house about 8million people in the 2006 population census but the figure was contested by its government and it was argued that it housed approximately 16million people.The sitting governor is Mr Akinwunmi Ambode who came into power under the umbrella of the APC in 2015
